A few years after I started a personal web log, using it to post project experiences, code samples, project advice, and so on, I realized that I had achieved a Google PageRank of 6, which is quite authoritative for a personal blog, and had nearly 500 subscribers. “This shouldn’t be! How could I attract more than 500 subscribers to a personal blog, without doing a bit of promotion?”
